I’m not exactly sure when this newsletter will be going out - hopefully I have the fortitude to send it sooner than later (I’m writing the bulk of this message ahead of the con… because… fortitude).
BUT
There are a few things I want to get out there ahead of the mess >
I want to reopen my commissions!
Last year I offered portrait commissions so I could reacquaint myself with the process - it’d been a long while since I took any, and it went really well; thank you to everyone who reached out to me! I can’t tell you how grateful I am for y’all.
Now, I feel way more confident with the process, and I have a dedicated space to work away from distraction - so I want to get back to it!
I’ll still be keeping my queue pretty limited to keep from being overwhelmed - but here’s the menu I’ll be offering.
If this is something you might be interested in - fill out the form below!
I’ll be making this public via my social media channels on Oct. 1st - so make sure to secure your spot sooner than later!
You can check out my current commissions schedule via my Trello »

All that being said - I think the rest is recap!
SO Tucson Comic Con was great. I can’t believe it’s already been a little over a week now. Three days really blows by when you’re in the mess of it!
If you follow me on Insta, I’m sure you saw all the cosplay I managed to snap pics of from my table 😁. There were so many good ones this year!
I met a ton of cool people this year, and was so happy to see new faces in the crowd. Here are some recommendations if you’d like to take a look —
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg really. There were so many other talented artists there!
OH and nbd, I managed to sneak away from my table for a minute so I could go get Doug Jones’ autograph!
He seems like a really nice guy, and had some words of wisdom for me before we took photos.
It was a really, super cool moment.

Almost immediately after the convention, my husband and I turned around and worked together at my studio for First Saturday Artwalk downtown. It has seriously felt like a marathon run for the past month and a half haha.
BUT we got it done.
I had my studio open, and he sold stuff for me while I sat in the gallery and painted publicly with several other artists. It was a lot of fun and just like at the con - I got to meet some neat people.
As a part of the event, the other residents and I each painted a small section of the hallway leading from the stairs down into the basement where we work. Here's a pic of me standing with my finished mural -
There's so much cleanup to do now though. I need to head down to the studio and take down all of my vending materials and pick up where I left off with personal artistic ventures.
I have a half finished 16x20 pencil drawing of a manticore I need to get back to, and a half finished digital portrait of Luocha from Honkai Star Rail that shhhooould theoretically be easy to knock out.
We’ll see if I can gather up my teeny handful of braincells long enough to get this show back on the road.

Anyway
I hope everyone is having a great day/night/mid-afternoon! I hope to touch base with you all again soon; and don’t forget - commission info will be released to the public on Oct. 1st!
